About Your I-94 Arrival Record
Your I-94 arrival record is a record produced by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) each time you arrive in the U.S. The I-94 is an extremely important document, since it serves as evidence of your lawful status in the U.S.
- Print out your I-94 after each entry into the U.S. by going to CBP's I-94 lookup site. and carry a copy with you at all times, even when traveling locally or domestically
- Check your I-94 for accuracy - see below for more information
- You may need to show your I-94 when completing other transactions, such as when starting an on-campus or off-campus job or applying for a Social Security Number (SSN)
- If you cannot find your I-94, or if your I-94 contains incorrect information, contact ISSS immediately.
