As you begin the process of preparing your federal and state income tax returns, please be aware of an additional resource made available through Global Brown.

Tax Preparation Software:

In accordance with the 2019 Tax Year Preparation Information you received from OISSS on March 3, please read the information provided carefully and follow the steps outlined. Go to brown.edu/go/intltax for more information and links to Glacier and Sprintax.

If after completing your tax return via Glacier/Sprintax (non-residents for tax purposes) or Turbo Tax/HR Block/Vita Services etc. (residents for tax purposes) you still have questions, you may schedule a one time consultation with tax specialist Kenneth Richards, CPA. Consultations are 15 minutes in duration for questions related to your individual tax return.

If you are not sure of your U.S. tax residency status for tax year 2019, please use the Glacier system first to make the
determination.

Note: It is expected that you fill out your tax return prior to this appointment and bring a hard copy of your income tax return with you for reference.

Wednesday, March 11th 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (open to all)
Saturday, March 14th 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm (specifically reserved for graduate students and scholars)
Wednesday, March 18th 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (open to all)
Saturday, April 4th 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm (open to all)
